I sometimes need a bit of drama in my life when it comes to fashion. Therefore, puff sleeves, open-back tops, and cut-out tops are a must-have in my wardrobe. Lately, I have been searching for a good black blazer and luckily enough, I was happy to find one that combined classic elegance with a bit of drama. Puff shoulder blazer welcome to my wardrobe.
THE PUFF SHOULDER BLAZER
What I particularly like about this blazer is its tailored fit and its lightweight material, which makes it possible to wear it as a top with nothing else underneath. Pair it with a pearl necklace for an evening cocktail and you have an ultra-chic appearance. On the other hand, the puff shoulders create a dramatic focal point without going overboard.
Black blazers are the ultimate workwear staples and worn with a shirt or a monochrome top, they can always serve for unlimited occasions and office outfits.
Can’t wait to pair this black blazer also with jeans and over-knee boots or heels.
THE LEATHER SHORTS
A good pair of suit pants is the classic choice for a black blazer. Suits have made a huge comeback this year in all colors and I am excited, but besides the suit pants, I also like the short suit and the bermuda suit versions, especially for spring and summer. That’s why I combined the black blazer with leather shorts.
THE OFF WHITE SLOUCHY BOOTS
When the white boots trend first made its comeback I admit I was a bit skeptical about it. But honestly, there are endless ways in which a pair of white boots or booties can be styled and I am definite it’s more than just a passing trend. The white boots I am wearing here are from & other stories and besides their soft leather for slouchy appearance, they maintain their shape pretty well when worn knee-high. Unfortunately, they are now sold out but I have linked below some other pairs that I like.
SOME PEARLS & SOME PURPLE
Finally, my new color addiction, lilac/purple in all its versions couldn’t be absent from this day’s choices and found its way to the outfit through this small purple vintage shoulder bag. I also love the mint color for this spring. Both of these hues make us feel better through these difficult times.
